Recently I went to Punta del Este with a friend with one objective: to see Gal Costa perform yet another one of her inspiring concerts. Her career started fifty years ago, and judging by what I heard that evening, she still has many years ahead of her. The program was a mix of hits: several recent songs, but also classics from as far back as the 1960s including Desafinado, Divino Maravilhoso and of course, Baby. Newer releases were on the program, including Chuva de Prata.
